The State Bank of India (SBI) offers a special scheme called the SBI Pension Loan Scheme, designed to assist retired individuals in meeting various financial needs.

Pension Payment Order: You must have a pension payment order from SBI.
Age Limit: The borrower should be under 76 years of age.
Loan Repayment Period: The loan must be repaid within 72 months, before the borrower reaches 78 years.
Mandate Undertaking: You must provide an undertaking that during the loan period, you will not alter your pension payment mandate.
No Pension Transfer: The Treasury should be informed that no requests for transferring pension payments to another bank will be made without a No Objection Certificate from the bank.
Guarantee: A life partner (eligible for family pension) or a suitable third party must act as a guarantor.
Other Terms: All other terms and conditions of the scheme will apply.
