Stovec Shares to Trade Ex-Dividend on April 30

Stovec Industries has once again announced a dividend for its investors. The company is now trading as an ex-dividend stock for the 23rd time.

This time, Stovec Industries Ltd. has declared a dividend of ₹12 per share. The record date for this dividend has been set for this month, which means the stock will start trading ex-dividend in the coming days.

Record Date and Dividend Details

As per stock exchange filings, shares of Stovec Industries Ltd. will trade ex-dividend on April 30, 2026. Investors who hold shares before this date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

The company will pay ₹12 per share, which equals a 1200% dividend return based on the face value of ₹10 per share.

Dividend History of the Company

The company did not pay any dividend in 2025. However, in 2024, it announced dividends twice, giving a total of ₹132 per share to investors.

It is important to note that Stovec Industries Ltd. first traded as an ex-dividend stock on the BSE in 2001, when it paid a dividend of ₹3 per share.

So far, the company has not issued any bonus shares and has also not conducted any stock split.

Share Price Performance

On Monday, shares of Stovec Industries Ltd. opened lower at ₹1,780 on the BSE. However, the stock soon recovered and rose more than 2%, reaching an intraday high of ₹1,840.

In the short term, the stock has performed well, gaining 29% in the last two weeks. However, the longer-term performance has been weak:

Down 26% in the past one year

Down 30% in the last two years

Down 13.24% over three years

Returned only 1.14% in five years

In comparison, the Sensex has gained 58% during the same five-year period.

Shareholding Pattern

As per the September quarter data:

Promoters hold 71.06% stake

Public investors hold 28.94%
