The revised rates came into effect on March 11, 2026.

The updated rates apply to deposits with a premature withdrawal facility across tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years.

After the revision, the bank now offers 2.75% to 6.50% interest for general customers, while senior citizens can earn between 3.25% and 7.10%, depending on the deposit tenure.

Following the latest revision, the interest rates have slightly decreased from the earlier range of 2.75%–6.60% for general customers and 3.25%–7.20% for senior citizens.

The highest FD interest rate for general customers is now 6.50%, available on deposits with tenures of 3 years 1 day to 5 years and 5 years 1 day to 10 years.

For senior citizens, the maximum rate stands at 7.10%, which is offered on 3 years 1 day to 5 years deposits and the 5-year tax saver fixed deposit.

Interest Rates for Short-Term Fixed Deposits

For short-duration deposits, the rates remain relatively lower.

7 to 45 days: 2.75% for general customers, 3.25% for senior citizens

91 to 184 days: 4.5% for general customers, 5% for senior citizens

185 days to less than 1 year: 5.5% for general customers, 6% for senior citizens

These short-term deposits are usually chosen by investors who want flexibility and quick access to funds.

Rates for Medium-Term Deposits

For deposits with slightly longer tenures, the interest rates are higher.

1 year to less than 18 months: 6.25% for general customers, 6.75% for senior citizens

18 months to 2 years: 6.30% for general customers, 6.80% for senior citizens

2 years 1 day to 3 years: 6.45% for general customers, 6.95% for senior citizens

These tenures often attract investors who want a balance between returns and liquidity.
