for banks, and November will also have several days when banks remain closed — around nine to ten in total.

If you plan to visit your bank in November, make sure to check the official list of holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

This will help you avoid any last-minute trouble. The month will also include Guru Nanak Jayanti, which is a major festival celebrated across the country.

Even on bank holidays, you can still complete most of your transactions digitally or online through mobile banking, net banking, or UPI.

List of Bank Holidays in November

November 1 (Friday): Banks will be closed in Bengaluru for Kannada Rajyotsava and in Dehradun for Igas-Baghwal.

November 2 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed nationwide for the weekly holiday.

November 5 (Wednesday): Holiday across India for Guru Nanak Jayanti and Kartik Purnima.

November 7 (Friday): Banks closed in Shillong for the Wangala Festival.

November 8 (Saturday): Banks closed nationwide for the second Saturday.

November 9, 16, 23, and 30 (Sundays): Weekly holidays across India.

November 22 (Saturday): Banks closed for the fourth Saturday.

Just like October, November will also be full of bank holidays. So, if you need to visit your branch, plan your work in advance to avoid inconvenience.
