The launch comes at an important time for the bank. AU Small Finance Bank, currently the country’s largest small finance bank, has already received in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to become a Universal Bank.

With this new credit card portfolio, the bank is targeting everyone from first-time credit users to affluent customers looking for premium travel and lifestyle benefits.

Four New Credit Cards for Different Life Stages

The newly launched portfolio includes:

AU Ananta Credit Card

AU Laksya Credit Card

AU Tejas Credit Card

AU Prathama Credit Card

According to the bank, these cards are not just standalone products.

Instead, they are designed as a complete range that matches the changing lifestyle, spending habits, and aspirations of Indian customers across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.

The cards cater to:

Affluent and premium customers

Young professionals and Gen Z users

Salaried individuals

Customers starting their first credit journey

AU Ananta Card Brings Premium Travel Benefits

The AU Ananta Credit Card is aimed at high-income and premium users.

One of its biggest highlights is a unique airport lounge feature. Customers can get complimentary airport lounge access not only for themselves but also while booking tickets for loved ones using the card.

The card also offers:

Reward points on travel, dining, and shopping

Complimentary airport lounge visits

Milestone rewards

Travel insurance benefits

The bank says this card focuses more on experience-based benefits instead of just regular cashback offers.

AU Laksya Card Targets Gen Z and Digital Users

The AU Laksya Credit Card is designed for digitally active professionals and Gen Z customers.

It offers benefits across categories that younger users spend heavily on, including:

Grocery shopping

Food delivery

Movie tickets

Contactless payments

Airport lounge access

The card also provides reward points on daily spending and digital transactions.

AU Tejas and AU Prathama Focus on Everyday Users

The AU Tejas Credit Card is aimed at young salaried customers looking for practical savings on regular expenses.

The card offers cashback on:

Cab rides

Grocery purchases

Bill payments

Meanwhile, the AU Prathama Credit Card is positioned as an entry-level card for people who are new to credit cards and want to begin building their credit history.

Extra Benefits Include No-Cost EMI and Fee Waivers

AU Small Finance Bank says all four cards come with welcome benefits against joining and annual fees.

The annual fee can also be reversed if customers achieve a certain spending threshold during the year.

Additional benefits include:

No-cost EMI options on travel bookings

Zero processing fees

Rewards across shopping, entertainment, travel, quick commerce, and bill payments

AU Bank Expands Ahead of Universal Bank Transition

The bank’s leadership says customers today want simple and relevant products instead of only discount-based offers.

According to Yogesh Jain, Chief Operating Officer of AU Small Finance Bank, the idea behind the new portfolio is to create a long-term customer journey where users can start with entry-level products and gradually upgrade as their financial needs grow.

As of March 31, 2026, AU Small Finance Bank had:

Deposits worth Rs 1.52 lakh crore

Loan portfolio of Rs 1.40 lakh crore

2,790 banking touchpoints across India

More than 1.2 crore customers

The latest card launch is part of the bank’s larger push to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing retail banking and credit card market.
