About Tata AIA Life Momentum 50 Index Fund

The fund is designed for investors who aim for long-term wealth creation. It tracks the BSE 500 Momentum 50 Customised Index, which includes the top 50 fastest-growing and best-performing stocks from the BSE 500. By mirroring this index, the fund allows investors to benefit from consistent growth of high-performing companies.

Key Features

Investing in India’s growth: Opportunity to participate in the rapid growth of Indian companies.

Momentum-driven strategy: Focus on the top 50 stocks selected from the BSE 500 Momentum 50 Customised Index.

Long-term wealth creation: Potential for stable and superior returns through sector diversification.

Insurance cover: Provides life insurance protection along with investment benefits.

Harshad Patil, CIO of Tata AIA Life Insurance, said that India’s equity markets are entering an exciting phase backed by strong fundamentals and policy reforms. The fund will invest in growth-oriented companies with a disciplined, rule-based approach.

What is Momentum Investing?

Momentum investing works on the principle that stocks performing well now will continue to perform well in the near future. Investors buy such strong, trending stocks and exit when the upward momentum slows down.

The Tata AIA Momentum 50 Index Fund will also be available across Tata AIA solutions like Smart Fortune Plus, Sampoorna Raksha Flex, Smart SIP, Capital Guarantee Solution, and ISIP.
