If you use an ICICI Bank debit card, there are some important updates you should know. The bank has changed several benefits and charges linked to its Expressions debit card. These new rules will start from June and July 2026.

Some changes will help customers save money, while others may increase your expenses.

Movie Ticket Discount From July 2026

ICICI Bank has introduced a new movie ticket benefit for debit card users. From July 2026, customers booking movie tickets through BookMyShow can get a discount of up to ₹125.

The offer is valid on two movie tickets and can be used once every month. This is good news for people who regularly book movie tickets online.

Foreign Transaction Charges Increased

The bank has also increased Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) charges from June 2026.

Earlier, customers had to pay a 1% DCC fee. Now, the charge has been increased to 3.50%. This means customers will pay ₹3.50 for every ₹100 spent in transactions involving foreign companies, whether in India or abroad.

This change may affect people who frequently shop on international websites or make overseas payments.

Annual Fee on Debit Card Increased

ICICI Bank has also raised the annual fee for its Expressions debit card.

The yearly fee has gone up from ₹599 to ₹749. Customers are advised to carefully read the bank’s terms and conditions to understand all updated charges and benefits.

ICICI Bank Warns Customers About New Parcel Scam

Apart from changing debit card charges, ICICI Bank has also warned customers about a rising online fraud happening in the name of courier and parcel delivery services.

The bank has asked users to stay alert and avoid clicking on suspicious links.

How the Scam Works

In this fraud, people receive an SMS claiming that their parcel could not be delivered because the address is incomplete.

The message contains a fake link asking users to update their address details. Sometimes, scammers even make phone calls and create panic by saying the parcel will be cancelled if details are not updated immediately.

After clicking the link, users are asked to make a small payment of ₹25 or ₹50 using a debit or credit card.

Once the victim enters card details like card number, expiry date, and CVV, the information reaches fraudsters who later misuse it for stealing money.

How to Stay Safe

Do not panic if you receive such messages. Fraudsters often try to create fear and urgency.

Avoid clicking on unknown or suspicious links. Courier companies and postal departments usually do not ask for address updates through random SMS links.

If you receive such a message, contact the company directly through its official customer care number to verify the information.

What To Do If You Become a Victim

If you face online fraud, take immediate action:

File a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Portal

Call the cybercrime helpline number 1930

Contact ICICI Bank customer support at 1800 2662

Customers should never share confidential details like card number, PIN, OTP, or CVV with anyone.

Suspicious SMS, emails, or calls can also be reported on Sanchar Saathi or by emailing ICICI Bank at antiphishing@icicibank.com.
