Bank of Baroda Subsidiary Introduces Etihad Co-Branded Cards

BOBCARD and Etihad Airways have jointly launched new credit cards in India. These cards are designed especially for people who travel abroad frequently. BOBCARD Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Baroda.

BOBCARD has introduced two co-branded credit cards in partnership with Etihad Airways. Both cards run on the Mastercard network and focus on providing travel-related benefits to international travelers.

The two cards are:

BOBCARD Etihad Guest Premium Credit Card

BOBCARD Etihad Guest Credit Card

The annual fee for the Premium Card is ₹5,000, while the Entry Card costs ₹2,500 per year. However, the annual fee can be waived if you meet specific spending limits.

Benefits of the Premium Credit Card

The Premium Card offers higher rewards and exclusive travel benefits. Cardholders earn:

2 Etihad Guest Miles for every ₹100 spent on regular and international transactions

6 Etihad Guest Miles for every ₹100 spent on Etihad Airways tickets

New users will receive 5,000 bonus miles if they spend ₹25,000 within 60 days. Silver Tier status is granted after the first transaction, and users can upgrade to Gold Tier by shopping on the Etihad website.

Additional benefits include:

Access to 12 domestic and 8 international airport lounges per year

Zero forex markup

Milestone rewards worth up to 24,000 miles annually

Concierge services and hotel offers

Benefits of the Entry Credit Card

The Entry Card is suitable for users who want travel benefits at a lower annual fee. With this card, users earn:

1 mile for every ₹100 spent

3 miles for every ₹100 spent on Etihad bookings

Users also receive 2,500 bonus miles for every ₹10,000 spent.

Other benefits include:

Access to 8 domestic and 4 international lounges annually

1% forex markup on foreign transactions
