How to File a Complaint on RBI’s Sachet Portal
The Sachet Portal is an online platform launched by the RBI to help people report fraudulent investment schemes, illegal chit funds, or companies promising fake profits.
Here’s how to file a complaint:
Visit the RBI Sachet Portal: https://sachet.rbi.org.in
Click on “File a Complaint” on the homepage.
Fill in the details of the company or scheme.
Mention the amount of money you invested.
If you’re unsure which regulator the case falls under, select “Can’t find regulator.”
Enter your mobile number to receive updates via SMS.
After registering, you’ll get a reference number to track your complaint online.
What Happens After You File a Complaint
Once your complaint is submitted, the RBI forwards it to the appropriate authorities such as SEBI, IRDAI, police departments, or state governments.
The RBI’s State Level Coordination Committee (SLCC) also assists in processing complaints to ensure timely action.
