The market was already closed on 1st November for Diwali, and it will also be closed on 15th November for Guru Nanak Jayanti. The market will then be closed again on 20th November for the Maharashtra elections.

Voting for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly will take place on 20th November, and the counting of votes will happen on 23rd November.

Along with the Maharashtra elections, Jharkhand assembly elections and by-elections for nine assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh will also take place on November 20.
