The account also provides a virtual debit card for online payments.

Customers can use digital channels for fund transfers, including NEFT, RTGS and IMPS, subject to applicable terms.

The account is available to Indian residents aged 18 years or above who meet the bank’s eligibility and KYC requirements.

Customers need a valid PAN card and Aadhaar as part of the account-opening process.

The bank’s terms also require the customer to be physically present in India while applying.

The digital opening process is designed to make account creation faster, allowing eligible customers to complete the required formalities online.

Interest Rate and Other Benefits

The standard savings interest rate for the Kotak 811 account is currently 2.5% per annum.
