Penny stock Jonjua Overseas Ltd. has announced another bonus share issue for its shareholders.

The stock, currently trading below ₹10, will offer 7 bonus shares for every 24 shares held.

The company has also announced the record date, giving investors only a short time to check their eligibility.

This is the fifth time the company has rewarded shareholders with bonus shares.

Record Date Fixed for September 4

Jonjua Overseas Ltd. has informed the stock exchanges that the record date is September 4.

Investors who are eligible on this date will receive 7 bonus shares for every 24 shares they own.

This is the company’s first bonus issue in nearly three years.

Bonus Shares Given Multiple Times Before

The company has a history of rewarding shareholders with bonus shares.

2019: 1 bonus share for every 25 shares

2021: 5 bonus shares for every 27 shares

2022: 4 bonus shares for every 23 shares

Last bonus issue: 9 bonus shares for every 50 shares

Apart from bonus shares, the company has also declared a dividend once. In 2025, eligible shareholders received a dividend of ₹0.10 per share.

How Has the Stock Performed?

On Friday, Jonjua Overseas Ltd. shares hit the 5% upper circuit and closed at ₹3.91 on the BSE.

The stock has delivered mixed returns over different time periods:

Up 10% in the last one month

Up 19% in the last six months

Down 51% over the past one year

The stock’s 52-week high is ₹8.36, while the 52-week low is ₹2.50. The company’s market capitalization stands at around ₹10.67 crore.

Long-Term Returns Remain Weak

Despite the recent rise, the stock has disappointed many long-term investors.

Its share price has fallen 50% in the last two years and 46% in the last three years.

However, investors who have stayed invested for five years are still sitting on a gain of around 49%.

As of September 2025, the company’s promoters held 57.07% stake, while public shareholders owned 42.93%.
