The company has introduced the Abakkus Large & Mid Cap Fund, an open-ended equity mutual fund that will invest mainly in India’s large and fast-growing companies.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) is currently open for subscription and investors can apply until July 29.

Why This Fund Could Be Worth Considering

The fund will invest at least 35% of its assets in large-cap companies and at least 35% in mid-cap companies.

Large-cap stocks are generally considered more stable, while mid-cap stocks have the potential to deliver higher returns over the long term.

This combination aims to offer investors a balance between growth and risk, making it suitable for those looking to build wealth over time.

You Can Start with Just ₹500

One of the biggest highlights of this fund is its low investment requirement.

You can invest with a lump sum of just ₹500. If you prefer investing every month, you can also start a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) with only ₹500.

This makes the fund accessible even for first-time investors.

Managed by Experienced Professionals

This is Abakkus Mutual Fund’s fourth scheme and its third equity-focused fund.

Founder Sunil Singhania said the investment strategy focuses on selecting quality companies available at reasonable valuations instead of following short-term market trends.

The fund will be managed by experienced fund managers Pratheesh Krishnan and Abhishek Krishnaswamy Srinivas. Its performance will be measured against the Nifty Large Midcap 250 TRI benchmark.

Apart from equities, the fund can also invest up to 30% of its assets in debt securities, as well as gold- or silver-linked instruments, if market conditions require.
